Every Summer beginning the first week of break running through the second to last week of break we run a modified riding program 1 week at a time. 

This year we are changing camp to include a more affordable horsemanship camp

You can attend for the whole week or single days, it’s up to you and your availability.

Camp programs at Wattland II are filled with friendships and memories that last a lifetime. From trail rides to barn management and caring for the horse to crafts, water play horseback games and camp horse shows we guarantee the day will be fun and exciting.

We offer all the children who come to our barn the opportunity to love and care for a horse while learning safety and riding skills from our experienced staff. Learning new skills and connecting with people and animals builds self esteem, and for many of our students, horsemanship becomes a passion for many years.

It is offered for boys and girls from the ages of 5 and up.

 RIDING CAMP

We limit enrollment to 10 RIDING participants per week to ensure individual attention and a completely positive experience. The children are grouped according to age and skill levels. 

Each day during the week, riders will be taught a new skill that will help them develop a better 

understanding of horse care and management. 

A few key lessons will be as follows:

• Tack and Equipment Care

• Grooming

• Basic First Aid

• Anatomy of the Horse

Equine inspired Arts & Crafts, Games, Swimming, and just having fun all day long!

Your child’s week at camp will be fun, 

fulfilling, and will create memories and friendships to last a lifetime!

SAFETY IS A MUST! 

Riders will be grouped together or instructed individually and they will be required to wear a helmet and a shoe or boot with a heel that is safe 

for riding.

 Children may bring their own horse or use one of ours.

STRICTLY 9:00am - 2:00pm Monday - Thursday (unless specified)
Early Drop Off (8am) and After Care (until 5pm) available 

PLEASE DO NOT DROP OFF YOUR CAMPERS PRIOR TO 8.50AM UNLESS PREVIOUSLY ARRANGED

 Cost $270 per week

Early Drop Off/Aftercare $20 extra per child and then $5 per hour per child per day

$50  non refundable deposit per child per week required at time of registration.

SHOULD CAMP BE CANCELLED DUE TO COVID-19 AND OR ANY  COUNTY RESTRICTIONS ALL DEPOSITS WILL BE FULLY REFUNDABLE.

No,  your child will be instructed according to their level of experience.
